Britax B-Agile Stroller Review

Britax B-Agile Stroller
When you’re on the go with a little one, convenience and safety are the top priorities to consider. A stroller can be a great way to cart your child around, but choosing the right one is critical. Before you spend your hard-earned money on a stroller, you must consider your needs, your budget, ease of use and, of course, safety features. For example, if you’re going to be using the stroller mainly indoors, or on smooth pavement, you may want a different type of stroller than if you’re going to be going over rough terrain outdoors on a regular basis. It will also depend on whether you’re going to use it for exercise, as with a jogging stroller; or, whether you want it strictly for short jaunts around town. Luckily, the Britax B-Agile Stroller makes it easy to choose. This lightweight stroller has just about everything you could want. A 5-point harness makes sure that your child stays securely locked in at all times; a canopy protects them from the sun and other elements; one-hand folding makes it convenient and easy to fold and pop in your trunk; the 3-wheel system ensures a smooth ride and maneuverability.

In order to register for the warranty, you must do so online or send in the warranty card that comes with the stroller.

The stroller folds easy, thanks to the ‘one-hand’ fold option. This is an extremely convenient feature to have. As most parents can attest to, at least one hand is normally full of groceries, snacks, and other items. Being able to fold and lift the stroller with one hand makes things convenient and expedient.

Cons

Currently, the Britax B-Agile Stroller is only available for purchase in the U.S. (from the Amazon site).

The stroller is made in China; this does not reflect on the quality of the unit, but may deter those who are looking to buy products to support their local economy.

The seat does not come up all the way – even in the most upright position, the child must sit back at a bit of an angle.

There is no ‘parent’ organizer tray on the handle; if you have a coffee or drink, you’ll have to hang on to it yourself.

  1. Susan Gardner says:

I love Britax car seats, and I wanted to love the strollers, as well. However, I was very surprised when I ordered the B-Agile 3/B-Safe 35 Travel System and discovered that the stroller was made in China. I realize you indicate this on your site, but nowhere on Britax’s site or on Amazon (from where the item was purchased) does it indicate that the strollers are not made in the USA. Every Google search that brought me to purchasing said Travel System indicated that all Britax products were manufactured in the USA. I am very disappointed in this.
I also noticed that the car seat had almost no out-gassing smells once opened, and the stroller has been very strong and offensive out-gassing. I am sensitive to chemicals and scents, but even my husband noticed the difference, and he is not sensitive like I am.

Just be forewarned before you purchase, that you are getting only a car seat made in the USA, and a stroller manufactured in China like every other stroller out there.
