The Graco DuoGlider LX Stroller is a great choice for parents who have twins or who have a growing family, with an infant and an older child. The stadium style seating is perfect for the little one in the back – they are able to sit up higher and see more. I personally prefer the tandem style seating, as opposed to the side-by-side, simply because it’s easier to get it through doorways and narrow spaces. It has one-fold feature I love and is self-standing when folded, which is perfect for those times when both hands are full – which is quite often when you have two kids with you! While it doesn’t come with infant car seats, it is compatible with all Graco car seats. It’s a sturdy, durable design that will last for as long as you need it – which is at least three or four years in most cases. Having one child changes your lifestyle completely; having two can be downright chaotic at times, although I’m not complaining. As a parent of a daughter and a son, I always look for anything that will make a job a bit easier. While I don’t have first-hand experience with this particular double stroller, I know that a double stroller definitely makes life easier when you have two small kids in tow.

Features

Graco DuoGlider LX Folded
Both seats have independent canopies that are fully adjustable to keep out the rain, wind and sun. Both are removable as well. Unfortunately, neither canopy has a viewing window; but they do both have sun visors for those bright sunny days. Both seats have trays with a cup holder so your little ones can eat and drink on the go. There are also footrests for each child. It’s easy enough to fold with one-handed, and is self-standing so storing it in the trunk is not a problem, even for smaller cars like a Honda Civic. The wheels do not come off for storage, but it is compact enough when folded that you don’t really need this feature. There is also a parent organizer tray with a cup holder. If you purchase from Amazon, you’ll have your item shipped in what they call ‘certified frustration free’ packaging. No tools or chainsaws required!
Handles, Wheels and Brakes
The ergonomic handle is not adjustable but is set at a level that most will find comfortable enough. There is a rubber grip in the middle to make it slip resistant and easier on the hands for long treks through the park or zoo. There are a total of 6 plastic wheels – 2 sets of 2 8” tires in the front, and 2 larger 9” ones in the back. The rear seat is a 4-position recline, and able to lie flat. This is a nice feature if your little one wants to sleep comfortably. The front seat also reclines, but not all the way. The front wheels swivel and are easily lockable. There are brakes on the back wheels that lock in place with the push of your foot. This ensures the stroller stays in place whether you’re on a hill, or a flat surface. The frame is made of steel, so you’ll have to watch for rust spots.

Parent Tray Offers More Storage
There is a large storage bin underneath the stroller, making it easy to store large diaper bags; you can even put a bag or two of groceries in, or other larger items. There is also a parent organizer tray with a cup holder and room for small items like keys, wallet and cell phone. The cup holder is deep enough that you won’t spill your coffee or water after hitting a bump. Storage is a huge issue for most parents, especially with two children. This stroller does a good job of providing you with the space you need to store all of the necessary items. Each seat comes with a child tray that can be removed if you’re going to be using car seats.

5-Point Harness Keeps Both Children Secure
Both seats can accommodate Graco infant car seats, making it a true ‘twin’ stroller. The rear seat is stadium-style and sits up slightly higher. When your child is older, they will appreciate this feature, as they’ll be able to see more of their surroundings. The fabric of the seats is removable and can be washed in mild detergent. Each seat is equipped with infant head support, making it more comfortable and safe for infants. Both seats are also equipped with 5-point harness belts adding a measure of safety for both children. It’s beneficial for older children as well, especially for little adventurers who try to climb out while the stroller is in motion.
Size, Dimensions and Weight
This is definitely not a stroller in the lightweight category, although considering it’s a double I wouldn’t expect it to be. The total weight of the stroller is 35 pounds, so although you can use one hand to fold it, you’ll probably need two to hoist it into your trunk. Dimensions are 38.5” x 19.7” x 13.6” (Length, Width, Depth) when assembled. The folded dimensions are 42” x 14” x 19.7” (Height, Width, Depth). The maximum recommended weight for each child is 40 pounds, for a total of 80 pounds. The maximum height recommendation for each child is 43”. This is one of the more sturdy and durable strollers on the market.

Pros
The Graco DuoGlider LX Stroller comes with a limited one year warranty from the manufacturer. It covers parts and labor; it does not cover mishandling or misuse, or injuries sustained by not following the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The stroller is compatible with all Graco infant car seats, so you can start using it immediately after your little one is born.
The stadium style seating is perfect for the rear-rider, as they’ll be able to see more clearly.
Both seats are equipped with a 5-point harness system. This makes it more secure for your little ones.
It’s easy to fold, using the ‘one hand fold’ feature; storing in the trunk of an SUV or small car is a cinch.
The reclining seats are a great feature for when your little riders get sleepy; the back seat is able to recline completely.
Cons
There is no viewing window on the canopies; while this may be a small detail, it is nice to be able to see your child without pulling the canopy back or bending to see what they’re up to.
The storage basket underneath can be difficult to get to with both kids in the stroller.
At over 30 pounds, it’s considered a heavy duty stroller; but this is to be expected with a double stroller that will last you for 5 years or more.
Accessories
The Graco DuoGlider LX Stroller comes with extra padding/head support rests for infants, giving them a more secure feeling while moving. It is compatible with all Graco infant car seats, although you’ll have to purchase them separately.
